Obvious defects
Obvious defects must be reported in writing by the buyer or customer immediately or within 8 days of receipt of the goods, failing which the buyer or customer will lose the right to have the defect rectified. If the goods are collected from a carrier, the buyer or customer must immediately inspect the goods for obvious defects and obtain a confirmation of such from the carrier.
Hidden defects
The buyer or customer must report hidden defects in writing to the supplier as soon as they appear, or at the latest within 8 days of the defect occurring, but no later than 30 days from the date of acceptance of the goods.
Correction of defects
In the event of a justified complaint, the supplier will resolve it within 45 days at the latest. If the defect cannot be rectified within this period, the buyer or customer is entitled to have the goods replaced.
