120 years of Primat d.d.

On 9 November 2021, Primat celebrated the 120th anniversary of the first cash register production in Slovenia.

History of Primat d.d.

In 1901, Mr. Franz Schell received a trade certificate to practice the trade of locksmith, whose main activity was the manufacture and sale of iron cash registers. Since then, our company has undergone many changes, but to this day it remains one of the few Slovenian companies in the metalworking industry that combines the development, production and sale of its own products under one roof.

Primat Group today

Today, the Primat Group consists of two companies in Maribor (PRIMAT d.d. and Primat Sistemi d.o.o.) and three companies abroad (two in Serbia and one in Bosnia and Herzegovina). We employ a total of 100 people in Maribor and 72 abroad.

This year, we will achieve sales revenues of more than €9 million, and we are planning 20% growth for next year. More than 90% of our sales are generated abroad, with sales in more than 25 countries.
